The initial group to receive the vaccine will include hospital direct care staff, paramedics and EMTs, long-term care and assisted living facility providers, public health nursing providing COVID-19 vaccines, and others listed in the Wyoming Department of Health’s 1A tier as additional vaccine shipments arrive in Teton County. The Teton County Health Department is working closely with the Department of Health and Wyoming’s COVID-19 vaccine plan will be using a phased distribution approach because limited initial vaccine availability is expected. You can view the Wyoming Department of Health's vaccination plan here.
Dr. Travis Riddell, Teton County Health Officer, advises Teton County residents to stay informed about COVID-19 and to look for updates and recommendations from credible sources such as the Wyoming Department of Health and the CDC.
