Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation
Effective March 18, 2020:
Community Public Services, Programs, Facilities and Events:
- All department special events, recreational, aquatic and leisure programs shall be suspended.
- Afterschool and spring break youth care programs are suspended until further notice.
- Community special event permits (50 people or greater) within the park system shall be suspended. Future special events will be processed on a conditional basis.
- The Community Recreation Center IS CLOSED until further notice.
All other services and facility care and access shall remain unchanged

Central Wyoming College Physical Facilities are closed until March 29, 2020, providing services virtually and can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org
Central Wyoming College’s College and Career Readiness department in Jackson (which is comprised of our ESL program, High School Equivalency program, and Adult Education program) has moved all face-to-face classes for these programs to online/distance learning until at least March 30. Jackson Hole Classical Academy is closed March 16, 2020 to April 3, 2020
Jackson Hole Children’s Museum is currently CLOSED (includes Museum and all programming). Jackson Hole Children’s Museum will be closed spring break, but may extend beyond that. The Children’s Museum will be monitoring TCSD decisions and Public Health recommendations as to when it is appropriate to reopen.
The National Museum of Wildlife Art is closed until at least April 6, 2020.
Teton Literacy Center is closed. Programs will resume when TCSD resumes.
Wyoming Stargazing’s public programs including our Science Speaker Series and Public Stargazing Programs will be hosted virtually using the Zoom online meeting platform. Jackson PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) March 17, 2020 meeting is Cancelled
Backcountry Film Festival on March 20, 2020, Hosted by the Wyoming Wilderness Association
Curran Seeley will be cancelling group Monday and Tuesday and then providing groups and individual sessions via Zoom. The office will be open for crisis walk in and calls but will be doing much of our ongoing work with enrolled clients and assessments through technology.
