In an effort to practice social distancing the Teton County Clerk’s Office is encouraging Teton County voters to vote by absentee ballot for the Wyoming 2020 Primary Election.
Voters can cast their absentee ballots in the primary election in the following ways:
- The polling site is now open in the basement of the Teton County Administration building at 200 S. Willow Street in Jackson, through August 17, 2020, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Voters can cast their ballots on site or take the ballots home and later return in person or via mail to P.O. Box 1727, Jackson WY 83001-1727.
- Voters can contact the Teton County Clerk’s Office by phone or e-mail to request that an absentee ballot be sent via the U.S. mail. The Clerk’s office can be reached at 307-733-4430 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
While the Clerk’s Office is encouraging absentee voting, county residents can still vote on election day, Tuesday, August 18, 2020. The public should anticipate a slower process and longer wait times due to the implementation of social distance protocols in the vote center locations.
