September 26, 2017, Jackson, WY – Beginning tomorrow, vehicles will be accessing the north side of the Snake River Dike from Emily Steven’s Park up to the Walton Quarry. Vehicles will be hauling gravel to be used for the paving of a portion of Spring Gulch Road.

Work crews will be prioritizing safety and caution, but persons using this portion of the trail on the dike should be aware of the potential of encountering vehicles, especially if they are accompanied by a pet.

Gravel hauling is expected to be completed by October 20, 2017. Signs will be posted near the entrance of the park on Highway 22 alerting patrons of the work taking place.

The Teton County Road & Levee Department would like to thank park visitors in advance for their patience and caution throughout the duration of this project.
