The plan update will accomplish four main objectives:

• Reconfirm/refine the 20-year vision for the valley that is realistic and achievable.
• Bring directions and policies of the County and Town into alignment with each other and with those of other coordinating agencies.
• Coordinate decision-making.
• Provide a greater level of predictability to landowners, businesses, and residents.
