Meet Cristi Byers, Teton County's Public Engagement Specialist.  Cristi's role in the organization is to bridge the gap between the community and the County.  She will be assisting all County departments on public outreach for projects.  Cristi will plan and attend open houses and events.  She will also create surveys to seek public input and manage the County's new public engagement website, www.EngageTetonCountyWY.com.

Cristi spent nearly 30 years managing newsrooms from Sacramento to New York and back home in Seattle.   When she left news she got her real estate licenses in both Wyoming and Washington.   She currently comes to us from Daniel where she lives in a tiny log cabin on 10 acres with her horse, mini donkey, chickens, bees and dogs.  She also owns a home on Camano Island, north of Seattle, where she loves to fish, crab, shrimp and clam.
