Passport Acceptance Fee Increase April 2nd

The U.S. Dept. of State has increased the acceptance facility fee from $25.00 to $35.00 effective April 2, 2018.

The U.S. passport card can be used to enter the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda at land border crossings or sea ports-of-entry and is less expensive than a passport book. However, the Passport Card cannot be used for international travel by air. View for more information.

You must arrive no later than 4:30 p.m. for us to process your application. We encourage you to call our office (307) 733-2533 or visit travel.state.gov to confirm what you need.

  • Applications received after 12:30 p.m. are mailed out the following business day.
  • Applications received after 12:30 p.m. on Friday are mailed out on Monday.

Current Processing Times

Fees (Separate Payments Apply)

  • Clerk of Court Processing Fee - $35 per application
    • Accepted forms of payment include cash, personal check (no counter checks), certified check, money order or credit card
  • Passport Card Processing Fee – Payable to U.S. Dept. of State
    • Standard Adult - $30
    • Minor (15 and Under) - $15
    • Accepted forms of payment include personal check (no counter checks), certified check or money order only
