This position promotes community health by inspecting facilities to ensure compliance with state/local health codes. Inspectors monitor food establishments, pools/spas, and related facilities. Performs water lab testing in EPA Certified lab.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology or related field; AND two years of experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Registered EHS with the National Environmental Health Association or eligibility to attain within one year of employment.
Hiring range is $26.04 - $27.36/hr.
