Proper Wild Game Disposal at Trash Transfer Station

Since the positive Chronic Wasting Disease test in 2018, Teton County is no longer able to transport wild game carcasses across state lines. Any amount or part of harvested wild game is not permitted in the general trash. Wild game must be brought in a plastic bag to the Trash Transfer Station separate from general trash.  Notify the scale attendant for directions to the disposal location on site.
