The Teton County Board of Commissioners will consider the designation of two sections of road, commonly know as the northern portions of “Stateline Road”, as a County road on Tuesday, October 2, 2018.
This action follows a public meeting on May 16, 2018, at which public comment and feedback were solicited from community members about the road adoption process and preliminary plans for the section of road.
In addition, public objections, comments, and claims for damages were accepted in writing to the Teton County Clerk or via email through September 20, 2018 (http://www.tetoncountywy.gov/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=411).
Currently, Teton County Engineering staff is working on the road and bridge final design and permitting. Pending a final decision from the Board of Commissioners, Engineering is planning to solicit bids for the project over the winter, with construction tentatively planned for 2019, should the sections in question be formally designated as a County road.
Questions about the process and potential project plans can be directed to the Teton County Engineering Division: (307)-733-3317.
