Teton Pass Corridor Study Draft Document and Public Comment Period

Teton Pass Corridor

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), in coordination with Teton County, Wyoming, the Wyoming Department of Transportation, and the U.S. Forest Service, have completed the Teton Pass Corridor Study final DRAFT.

The project website has been updated with a link to the DRAFT final document and an online form for the public and stakeholders to provide feedback, which can be found by visiting:

https://highways.dot.gov/federal-lands/projects/wy/flap-dot-22-1

or

https://go.usa.gov/xtrwU

The purpose of the study is to evaluate the existing and future conditions of Teton Pass, State Highway 22 in Wyoming, with special attention paid to safety issues and addressing recreational access along the corridor to support a quality user experience. Findings from this study will include a range of possible options for improving safety and Federal Lands access.

Comments will be used to produce a final study which then can be used by local leaders to help prioritize and move selected projects forward (with further site-specific environmental analysis and feasibility needed). The comment period will remain open until Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
