| Fire Extinguisher | Discharged and Deheaded Extinguishers: If your fire extinguishers have been completely discharged and deheaded (the heads generally screw off), they can be dropped off at the Recycling Center or the Trash Transfer Station for scrap metal recycling after inspection. Non-Discharged Extinguishers: If the extinguishers have not been discharged, neither Teton County Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling (ISWR) nor Jackson Fire/EMS can accept them.

| Food Scraps | Household food waste can be taken to the Recycling Center during office hours for up to 5-gallon buckets ($2/bucket). Larger quantities from restaurants and stores can be taken to the Trash Transfer Station for composting. |
