January 2024 - For the past four years, the Housing Department has reported on the rent prices and vacancy rates for the five largest apartment complexes in the community using data provided by those apartment complexes. However, in early 2023, some of the complexes refused to answer our rent survey, limiting our ability to report current data.
In response to this changing dynamic, the Housing Department released a rental survey to the public on August 21, 2023 designed to collect information on the cost and experience of renting in Teton County, Wyoming. The survey closed September 5, 2023. A total of 907 individual responses were collected. Of these, 860 were responses to the English language survey and 47 were responses to the Spanish language survey. A total of 10 questions were asked in the survey.
