To enter the drawing, you must:
- Complete this survey by 4:00 PM MST on January 20, 2026.
- Create and complete your Interest Application. If you already have an Interest Application, please confirm your information is correct.
- Upload all Affidavits of Current Employment for all jobs of all adults in the household to your Interest Application.
- Upload all Affidavits of Previous Employment for one adult in the household to verify up to 10 years of consecutive full-time employment for a Local Business to your Interest Application.
- If you are a Qualified Critical Services Provider, please upload your verification form to your Interest Application to ensure you receive an additional entry into the drawing.
- If you are self-employed, please complete this form and upload it to your Interest Application.
- Upload your Lenders Qualification Worksheet (must be completed by a Local Lender; the Lender's Qualification is valid for one year; the loan amount on your Lender's Qualification worksheet must be at least the purchase price minus your down payment for the home for which you are applying).
Eligibility highlights:
- At least one adult in the household must be employed full-time in Teton County for a minimum of one year. The Housing Department defines full-time employment as working a minimum of 1560 hours per year (30 hours/week average). Housing Department Rules & Regulations, Section 4: Weighted Drawing.
- The household may not own any residential real estate within 75 miles of the Town of Jackson.
- 75% of the Household’s combined income must be earned working for a business located in Teton County.
- Households must live in the home 10 months out of each year.
Calculation of Income
Household income is based on the current income earned by all intended adult occupants of the rental unit at the time of weighted drawing, using the current household income to estimate an annual (12-month) income basis. Households must use their current income and may not make changes or adjustments to earnings to fit within the income range.

The complete application paperwork is not required at the time of drawing entry; however, it will be required when you are selected for a home. Please keep in mind you will only have 5 business days from the date of notification to provide it. For anyone who may need more time and would like to complete the required paperwork, here is a list for your convenience:
- Most recent 2 years' complete tax returns and W-2s.
- 3 months of the most recent account statements for all checking, savings, CD, IRA, and retirement accounts.
- Full credit report/scores for all adult applicants dated within the last year.
- Proof of citizenship - passport, birth certificate, or green card. For DACA recipients, USCIS DACA Approval Notice (Form 1-797).
